Terry is the reason we got our dream home in an extremely competitive market. She managed to sell our existing home for cash literally the evening we accepted the counter offer on our new home. The interest rates were record low and the houses in our hopeful neighborhood were flying off the market within hours of being put up. Selling prices were WAY over listing and we were getting defeated house after house after house. I was ready to quit as it seemed intangible, but a close friend recommended Terry after many failed attempts with another realtor. Our luck changed dramatically with her plans. She knows what to do to sell and buy and acts fast. She came over in minutes, had our home staged, flyers out, sign up, and aggressively scheduled as many potential buyers as fast as possible (COVID times meant no “open houses.”) At all times, she had her eyes on the prize, but she treated us like family and ensured we were stress free and well taken care of through this whole process. One day I called her crying because we had to leave the house again for another showing and my toddlers had a rough time being out and about during a showing the day before (during COVID I didn’t feel comfortable taking the kids in public while our house was being shown and had to be out of the house ensure everyone was safe) She empathized and connected with me, she talked me down, and refocused me. Once she confirmed we still wanted to buy/sell and helped me understand the reasons why we wanted the move in the first place, she gave us a little time off and continued working day and night to get our home sold behind the scenes. She kept me focused and helped us during the harder times the kids didn’t want to leave to show our home. She would show up just to talk me through my emotions and check in, then figure out how she could help support us and get our house sold. She would cluster the showings or reschedule them if the kids had a hard day. It was just so difficult to buy and sell with two young kids during a pandemic. Without her support, compassion, and hard work, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this move or stay driven enough to get it done. She is very family oriented and ensures every member of our family, including our toddlers, are well taken care. Her family works with her on the field and they are equally wonderful and loving people. They really are a dream team. She helped us realize what our family needed without us even being aware of it ourselves. On one particular showing, my husband did not appreciate the floor plan and I thought we could fix his concerns after we bought, but Terry helped us realize the home was not what we said we wanted in the first place. She refused to sell us a house that she knew wasn’t perfect for us in all ways. I appreciated her honesty and now could not imagine living in that house I was so ready to put an offer on that day. If you want to make a real estate transaction while trusting your realtor and ensuring your needs are a priority, she is the ONLY realtor to work with. She will get it done with grace and with the utmost quality. My only advice is when you meet with her, be ready to move because she will make it happen. She is the BEST and will fight to make all of your housing wishes a reality.
